Self-clinching nuts install into round holes in thin sheet metal by cold flow: pressing the nut displaces sheet material into an anti-rotation groove, producing permanent, reusable machine threads flush with the surface – no welding, no riveting, no re-tapping. Helefastener supplies the full family in steel (zinc plated), 300/400 series stainless steel, aluminium and brass, with threads M2–M10 and unified inch equivalents.
